The Return of Ask Joe Bob

Finally!!! He said he will get back to doing them weekly now (🤞) so it you have any questions for him, please feel free to leave them here in a comment or email me at TheLostDriveIn@gmail.com.

If you sent one before that hasn’t been used yet, please re-send, if you don’t mind. (It just helps not to have to go back and track ‘em all down. ❤️)

Some of my favorite memories as a kid growing up are watching horror movies with my friend Ryan. His mom would let us rent anything and would take us to any movie we wanted. Unfortunately he passed away a couple years ago at 41. I was wondering if you had a horror buddy as a kid and what were the movies you watched, either horror or just in general thank you so much for doing these. Have a good day -Matt LaClair, Springfield VT

I was wondering do you think that the popularity of newer high concept horror (I won’t call it elevated lol) means that the classic slasher movie is in danger for theatrical release. Or is it all cyclical and slasher will become popular again

I would love to know some of his thoughts on newer indie horror like The Taking of Deborah Logan, Freaks of Nature, The Devils Candy and 12 Hour Shift OR if he has any thoughts on After Dark Films, like the 8 Films to Die For series. After Dark started my love for obscure horror and I've been patiently waiting for you guys to host one!

Yay! This was my question! ❤️ Glad you guys started doing these again. 😊

He answered one of mine a while back but I'll try my luck again. Joe Bob. You mentioned you hung out with the Fabulous Freebirds and you're friends with Chris Jericho and many other wrestlers. Is there any one wrestler past or present you ever wanted to meet but didn't? Your friend, EZ Rider Baytown/Goose Creek Texas

Here's one, inspired by our trip to Graceland (which literally turned me into a big Elvis fan in 3 hours): Have you seen many of Elvis's movies, and which do you consider to have the most redeeming qualities? (I've seen none of them yet.) I'm in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

I am so happy to see this back, thank you for doing this. Cannot wait to see more questions and answers :)

So...That grey is so fine, Joe Bob. I could barely concentrate on the answer. Something about Gypsy Rose Lee?

I like this side of joe bob , it’s best when he rants on topics he truly loves . Welcome more non horror insights . Really cool he went to Texas Theater before it became infamous !

Aw. He’ll love this one, though. Where are y’all ftom?

I was lucky enough to have mine read on the Last Drive-In so put me at the end of the line. But I’d love to know what are his earliest memories of watching horror movies as a child and does he have any special memories of sharing movies with his parents or other family members. I’d love to hear what Darcy’s are also. The Last Drive-In has been such a great bonding experience for my whole family. Love The Godsil Mutant Family
