Do they have meetings at the State Department where they say, "Hey, here's one that'll piss em off!" And then does somebody on the back row say, "Yeah, that Communist strongman will be so hopping mad when you remind him that China is not a democracy that, as soon as you leave, he'll kill himself so the people can rule."

I don't think anyone is going to convince them to see things differently. They're pretty committed to whatever their system is.
