Couple of the folks said last week that getting the extended edition from DropBox was easier than getting it from Patreon, so I figured I'd give you that option as well. The extended edition will only be available via DropBox for one week. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3z6fx9vs1tnmtxp/SA-2015-06-04b.mp3?dl=0

We haven't stopped using the Patreon player; it's just that Patreon is experiencing a bunch of system issues and we're using this as a work around for people who can't get it via Patreon...

Fuck Dropbox. All I keep getting is a message that the preview is not available. If you're taking votes, go back to the patreon player.

I aim to Misbehave

One way to listen to the Dropbox episodes without the app is to download the episode to Dropbox, then open the file with iTunes. The episode can be then transferred to your iPhone or iPod like any other music file - it's a roundabout way of doing it, but it allows you to use any other app while listening

I can't get Dropbox to keep playing when I switch to another app. Listening while i cook dinner and need my recipes. Resorting to the regular episode.

I like to stream the episodes from the Patreon page so I am in agreement with Danni - is there a way to post both to Patreon and Dropbox? Or has Patreon changed things to prevent this?

Sean Dunaway

I use iCatcher and it is having a horrible time with the Dropbox links. When I try to download it to my device, it tries to play It in the browser and then restarts halfway through the diatribe. :( Is there a way to post both (dropbox and the old way)?

The dropbox version is very helpful! Any chance of the same for Skepticrat? Thank you!

Quick note to Jeremiah et al. on the old Patreon URLs: on my iPhone I have GoodReader, which allowed me to enter a Patreon URL and download directly to the app on my phone. Worked very easily, even more so than with the Dropbox links.

The Magic Tapeworm

I rarely post anything, much less with the intent of violently agreeing with something for which my support would lend less than an echo of yesterday's most disappointing fart. But when I heard the portion of today's Diatribe concerning why misogyny deserves it's place in your show, I felt compelled to add a muffled, slightly pungent, "Fuckin'-A". I'm a guy... a white guy - a gay, atheist white guy to be sure - but still a white guy. And just the white guy shit I'm aware of that's made my life a comparative cakewalk is embarrassingly unforgivable in the extreme. So when people feel the need come to my white guy defense, it's time to start pumping the brakes a little. That aside, the obvious reason, from the listeners' point of view, that sexism deserves its prominent place in your show is that Lucinda's contributions (apologies to the guys) are some of the wittiest, most hilarious, and - disturbingly - most meaningful segments in the show. Also, her observations on reading the bible have made me swallow my snuff on multiple occasions, and anyone who can deliver that much horrible, fucked up, misogynistic bullshit from around the world and somehow make me want to hear more of it is a force to be reckoned with. Lucinda, it would seem, rocks. Incidentally I'm having a lot of trouble coming up with any of the more egregious examples of misogyny that don't have clearly defined roots in religion, so even if you wanted to stick to a purist, atheistic filter for programming content, I think you occupy a highly defensible position with your current format, not to mention a well-oiled middle finger (ew) should you need it. Thank you for the fantastic rants, sophomoric observations, and useful man-in-puppy sexual position advice. My Thursdays have never been better (and then I listen to the show). Yours in Christ, Weston

File/Link was unplayable until I removed the ?dl=0 param :-/

It's definitely an improvement in the sense that I can download it and listen to it on my phone. I couldn't figure out how to get it from Patreon. You guys take such good care of us. <3 <3 <3
