Wouldn't it make more sense to say Grindr would be in trouble If they didn't let gay Christians on their platform as a correlation to the problem of no homosexuals on Christian mingle?

I'm still stuck on one thing though, to use one of the examples that Eli threw out - Grindr won't be forced to cater to straight men, I understand why that's true BUT doesn't that mean that Grindr are also not complying with Unruh, and aren't in any way protected from a similar class action suit, assuming they're a California registered company? I think Smalley was clearly wrong about the application of the law in this case, but I don't think he was far off base about the wisdom of the law itself. What protection do minority communities with exclusive networks have from becoming the targets of lawsuits instead of the beneficiaries of them?

2016-07-07 16:59:50 +0000 UTCI feel kinda bad now, like I should have marked some checkbox on the signup to let Noah know I was a libertarian -before- he praised my attractiveness and ability to make mirrors swoon. I definitely don't want to receive any undue plaudits. Anywho, Eli mentioned a blog post by a lawyery law-talkin' guy on the ChristianMingle case so I googled around for "Andrew Torres" with a few different wildcards (*cough*Rule34*cough*) but couldn't find anything. I really do want to read it before I email Noah my self-righteous, bigot-loving response to the diatribe, so could we possibly get that in the show notes? Till then I'm pretty much inclined toward David Smalley's argument.
