Hey everyone,
In case you haven't heard, Hasbro has a 'draft' of their upcoming OGL 1.1 license leaked, and it's fairly harsh to third party people, companies, and for what I'm trying to do with the Sol'Kesh bestiary. I currently use the 1.0a version for Sol'Kesh and so this will impact the project and book, and I want to be transparent with all of you on my plans going forward.
My main goal with Sol'Kesh is to get creatures in your hands to use in your games. So far it's been with D&D 5e because I know the ruleset and it's currently the most popular, but it could be Pathfinder or something else entirely. I care more about getting this out to as many people as possible than to which game rules it has.
At the moment my plan is to wait on Hasbro's response. If they're doing the community an injustice and being overly aggressive, I'll happily join the likes of Kobold Press and Stormbunny Studios in leaving Hasbro in the cesspool of their own greed.
For now I'll continue building out my creatures (and the Korrask in 3 days) using the D&D 5e rules and hope Hasbro does the right thing and not force me to change what I've built so far.
Either way Sol'Kesh will be playable, and thank you all for being here.
Terry
