The Khanith - March's first creature release

March is bug month! Which may happen a few times this year with the amount of titanic sized insects we have walking around on Sol’Kesh.

These two species originate from the same genus of fast moving beetles that adapted to a new climate by evolving efficient spiracles and allowing them to grow to larger sizes.

The Khanith is a nocturnal hunter on the plains of Sol'Kesh, rushing over fields and scrub to surround and isolate herd animals, their thin wings aiding them in long devastating pounces.

The craftable item that can be made from this creature, as well as last month’s Ricatrillisk, is a potion that can have some really beneficial alliances with all the insects of Sol’Kesh.

The second creature to be released on March 15th is The Khanaur is a massive brute of a creature, but like our gorilla's today, has a more peaceful grazing lifestyle, digging through the dry soil for tubers and fiercely defending its territory since food can be scarce in the west.

And like every month I’ll be adding wayward sketches to give you all some special access to the world of Sol’Kesh and the bestiary book I’m writing for it.
