Mausoleum prototype

I have planned the mausoleum as a stand alone building with an optional raised platform. The core elements will be very simple to build and then I will add some elements to add different details if you want to upgrade your model(s) or build a couple of different versions!

This is the core shape of the building. It is inspired by the Winchester Family Tomb in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery. While doing research I have seen many very interesting designs but I think this one is very balanced in terms of simplicity and detail.

Just by texturing this model right, it should look great and I have some ideas of adding different looks at this level.

Here, combined with the platform, I have already added the four corner stones which are also optional. So the platform can be just a raised box (maybe if you want a couple of crypts in a row somewhere on the graveyard). But with the cornerstones one could add statues, lanterns or just bowls with flowers? I have to see which of these I can do with papercraft though :-)

One version of detailing of the building could look like this. It's a very rough try but you get the direction I am going for. The roof and corner elements are just one possible detail to add. I am also thinking about roof additions and maybe side entrances or windows.
