Dreams Really Do Come True

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Discount Dan on Tuesday March 11th, I took Croc to go get a picture with the cast of the Twilight Movie series. Now, this isn't Robert Pattison or Kristen Stewart, but it is the rest of the Cullen family. It was glorious and hilarious in equal measure.

It was, in a word, amazing. I don't think I have ever seen four more confused actors. An entire line of middled aged woman, and then me, a 6'2" dude in a bathrobe and toolbelt with the weirdest most horrifying plushie on the planet.

The guy who played Jackson was like, "Uh... so what's that thing?"

I said, "This is Croc, an Eldritch Abomination beyond human imagination and he loves three things: Froyo, murder, and the Twilight Book series."

Long awkward pause follows, then, "Oh... Okay. Well, if that thing likes Twilight, then I guess we like him too."

Next time I'm at a Comic Con and one of them is there, I'm gonna get them to sign the photo and give them a copy of the book. Then... Then I'll keep going until eventually I have Robert Pattison and Kristen Stewart as well. Gonna collect them like Pokémon.

Speaking of the launch -- it is on Tuesday. I'll send out ebook copies to all of you as well. With that said, if you want to help with the launch there's a couple things you can do to make sure all the world knows of the horrendous glory of Discount Dan.

1. Consider grabbing an ebook copy through Amazon or read through it in Kindle Unlimited. I know y'all already support me, so it's not a problem if you can't do this. But every sale helps with Sales Rank, which increases visibility on Amazon.

2. Grab a copy of the Audiobook, narrated by the amazing Steve Campbell. This is also a huge benefit.

3. Please, please, please consider leaving a short honest review over on Amazon. I cannot tell you how helpful these are. Even more than a direct sale, and you can leave a review even if you don't directly purchase a copy. I'll post the review link on Tuesday when the book launches.

4. Also soooooo important. Please tell people about it in any social media groups you happen to be a part of (Facebook, Reddit, Discord, etc.). A lot of groups restrict self promotions from Authors so I literally can't tell people about it, but you guys can. Or if you see people asking for book recs, just drop a comment recommending it.

5. Lastly, I'll be doing a reddit AMA in the LitRPG subreddit on Tuesday, so swing by and ask some questions. I'll also be having a virtual Discount Dan launch party on Sunday March 16th. Here's the link for anyone who would like to attend.
