Wow! Sis you nailed this one! Such a beautiful way to explain such a difficult subject. You know me, I prefer the simplistic over the liturgical, and you made it so simple and inviting. God wants to talk with us just as He did with Adam in the garden. Conversation is key to relationship. We must listen way more than we speak, whine, complain or ask for stuff. God and the Holy Spirit are really cool guys to hang with. They have keen senses of humor, and they love to teach you new stuff. The key is learning to recognize and differentiate between their voice and the voice of the enemy (just so you can tell him to shove off). This journey is so beautiful, and I hope the guys here are a blessed by all you do as I am. Peace my Sister! you are blessed and highly favored!

I guess I'm just a Fun-gi lol. Jennie, if I may, Paul says "pray never ceasing", that doesn't mean to spend every waking hour in prayer, but to open your day in prayer, then just talk (mostly comment or question) with God constantly throughout the day. Just like your buddy walking along beside you. When you begin to practice this you will feel a heightened sense of presence. It's just an open dialog, all day, like with a coworker who doesn't talk much, unless you really listen. The Holy Spirit is who is really talking with you, and as Jennie says knowing His voice is understanding the intent of the thought or notion. If it is positive or uplifting, it's most likely Him (God vis the HS), if it's negative or condemning it's not Him and is either bad brain training, or the enemy trying to destroy your presence and peace. Just tell him to go away in Jesus name and take his negative crap with him. You will find as you begin to do this that knowing His voice will come easier and easier. You will also recognize how many times a day the enemy tries to derail you. Peace Brother!

Lovely mules and a beautiful message. I do think it’s a unique experience when you hear god’s voice. For me, I tend to know he is speaking to me and listening when there are things, that are environmental, or situational that happens. Things that I only spoke to him about and no one else. His presence during those times are overwhelming felt, and then tend to manifest in ways that are unique to my understanding of my relationship with him! 🤗 as always, a lovely message! Thank you!
