Hi On Fire Family!

It is good to help those in need by giving them food. Better is to give them a fishing pole and teach them how to fish. Best is to give them food for today and the pole and skills to continue to feed themselves for all their tomorrows.

With this in mind, I am thrilled to assist in areas where I see this happening.

As most of you know, I’ve been supporting a girl’s school in India through On Fire Fit proceeds. They teach young women a trade (nurse assistant) which has allowed them to break out of poverty and improve their villages.

I was made aware that a sponsor who had pledged 20 girls for the school year backed out and those girls already started in June. The director has seen God provide since the school’s inception 20 years ago and has faith that He will continue to do so!

Are we the ones to be God’s hands and feet this time?
