Let your light shine

One of my former bosses and I remain friends to this day. Actually, I am blessed to count quite a few former bosses as friends. Lenora was mentioning in our Spiritual Warfare zoom class that she knew when she met me that there was faith there and the Spirit was in me (or some version of those words:). As I listened to her speak and remembered back to those days of meeting her, I recall feeling the same about her.
As the years passed, I found she was receptive to new ideas, advocated for her staff as well as our patients, and was such a strong woman in her countenance and her ability to manage a very difficult position.
Sometimes I think we have the notion that we have to do a “ministry” in order to serve God. Lenora is a prime example of a “living ministry''. As she goes through life, she embodies the characteristics of Jesus in so many ways.
God is so good to know the people to put in our lives and the timing for meeting our needs.
I hope to carry out serving others as well as Lenora has.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16
