Good morning!

Much like the rest of the world, I can get caught up in all that is happening around me and get pretty wound up. I am always surprised by how that can sneak up on me. I know we were promised by Jesus Himself that in this world we WILL have trouble! BUT, we are to take heart! Why? Because He overcame the world!

I was talking to me friend who has a very good perspective on this subject and he admitted to me one day that he got wound up and then recognized that he had and so praised God for a good half hour to undo that mess.

Boy oh boy did that give me encouragement. It reminded me that we all have this struggle at times. And, it reminded me the quickest way to get out of the mess……praise God.

How do we do that? We say all the things that He is and all that He has done and all His promises. We stop looking at what is in the physical and we look to the eternal.

His promises stand forever!
