Encounter God’s Heart...
No Sacrifice Unseen

We find shelter in the presence of God Almighty. Under his wings, we take refuge. Every sacrifice that we make is observed by the Lord. Not only that, but he also rewards us for each one. When we yield our lives to the Lord, it is like a burnt offering that we present to him. We offer ourselves to him, and he is the fiery passion that consumes us.

May we bless those who sacrificially lay down the familiar in favor of serving another. Ruth sacrificed the comfort of her homeland, her blood relatives, and her customs, and she instead chose to follow her mother-in-law in the love that propelled her. May we know that everything we give up in order to follow the path of Jesus’ love will be rewarded in full. He has become our shelter, and he will take care of us, noting every offering of surrender along the way.

Sovereign Lord, I’m grateful that you see, know, and understand the level of the sacrifices I offer to you. I know that in that loss, there will also be glorious gain.
