Before you think I went off the rails, hear me out 😊

I’ve been spending time in different ways learning about our identity, the way God made us. The world says one thing, God says another. Which one do I want to listen to?

The world's version of being a “Queen” or “King” is to be powerful over people, act bossy and bratty and behaviors that line up with that mentality.

God’s version is to say that we are Royalty. We are made in His image. Our worth and value come from Him and how He made us. Being a Queen/King means we have God’s power lifting us up, not beating us and others down. It means we know our worth and act like it. We choose what we let into our world and what we filter out. We rise to the level of who God made us to be, we don’t fall to the level of society.

Over the next oh-so-many days, I will be expanding on this. As you know, I love metaphors. King and Queen mentality is something that can transform your life by causing you mind to shift and then the actions flow out of that.

This concept is credited to RC Blakes, a minister and speaker who is incredibly anointed as a teacher.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2
