Lead by Example
What an honor it is to spark hope and awakening in people’s lives. Every word you speak, even your posts on social media, have the potential to kindle a slumbering spirit. Your attitudes and actions have the power to revive or destroy those around you. You have more power than you could possibly imagine.
You carry a spiritual torch within you that can light the way for others. Don’t hide it or allow selfishness to snuff it out. Give people glimpses of truth by being someone they can look up to. They don’t want you to wear a mask of false perfection. They want to know that God is relatable, approachable, and real. They want to understand how you can remain calm in the midst of chaos. They crave peace when war is raging in their souls. You don’t have to have all the answers. You only need to point them to the One who does.
Jesus, help me to be a true reflection of who you are. As my life conveys your goodness, may the faith of others come to life. As I live in authenticity, allowing others to catch glimpses of my struggles and breakthroughs, let their desire for you be stirred. Make yourself real to others as I live before them in truth.
