Freedom

Jesus wants us free from the enslavement that the enemy brings. He wants us free to be who He made us to be. He sees us far differently than we see ourselves. It’s time to upgrade how you see yourself because God sees you through the perfect sacrifice of Jesus when you are in Him.
Why do we insist on being so hard on ourselves and staying in the open jail cell? Maybe we think we have to do it ourselves or we think we will get better if we beat ourselves down. It doesn’t work. We are already free.
Freedom is something that we can then bring to other captives by helping them to be physically or inwardly healed. Christ came not to just save us for heaven but to save us so we can go out and be His hands and feet in the world.
May we really consider that for the next year and set our priorities on freedom.

2022-12-28 13:07:31 +0000 UTCYes! Freedom is the best word for 2023. We as followers of Jesus need to understand and grow in our freedom and we must help those around us to get free. Free from hate, unforgiveness, shame, guilt, willful sinful desires and yes even religion that makes God's complete love ineffective. Happy New Year Sister! Lead them into freedom!
