But when the times came that he had the chance to repay the perpetrators for their actions he always drew from the lessons of love and kindness that God showed him in the darkest parts. He blessed his perpetrators with forgiveness and compassion. I pray that my mind, will and emotions would be as strong as his. Thank you sister for teaching us with your love.

2023-06-21 12:13:53 +0000 UTCGood solid advice as always! Feelings are just that - feelings. We don’t have to act on them. However, I agree that we should acknowledge them before they eat us alive. Although I am retired, there are still some times that I reflect back on my career and feel bristly about a long ago incident. I try to acknowledge it and then remind myself that I’m retired! Turning it over to God is always a blessing. On an aside, both the beginning and end thumbnail pics are classic Jennie. They radiate kindness, class, and beauty!
