The first one was commonplace in my generation but it seems like it has diminished with every generation that has passed since. I know that we are in sync on All 3 of these attributes. How to have a healthy relationship will be discussed in the new Better OFF group. Maybe you can join us one night for that discussion. Thanks Sis, you always bring us to a higher level .

2023-06-29 19:13:55 +0000 UTCThinking back on the trajectory of my life, I agree 100% with you. I grew up in a “traditional family” 🏡 with my mom and dad working together to get things done. They each had their role and all in all it was pretty effective. My wife grew up in similar circumstances. We both knew what we wanted when we got married (we were both in our 30’s) and we assumed traditional roles. We worked together and from what I can tell, I think I hit the 3 points you discussed. Of course my wife may have a thing or two to say about my assessment 😂. She has been a Godsend to me 😉. I do agree that verbalizing the roles of husbands and wives can draw scorn in this day and age, but it shouldn’t. It should be celebrated🎉 🎊 as you’ve discussed! Thank you for keeping it real! 💖
