Wow! This is not an accident. About a month ago I had scheduled this to post today. I just came to my scheduling app to see if I had something ready to go and I'm blown away. Yesterday, my daughter's boyfriend text me this very verse in response to a trial that occurred yesterday. I have been praising God FOR this situation since it happened and I find it brings me joy.

I also used the verse he sent me for my SOTD quote yesterday. Here it is:

Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. James 1:2-4 MSG

The other version of this that had come to my mind is "Consider it PURE JOY, my brothers and sisters, when you face trials of many kinds....."

I am sure that our tests and challenges can all be measured against that of someone else. Some may be worse or better depending on how you look at it, but nonetheless, we ALL have trials and challenges.

The choice, though, is always how we look at it.

I've been intentionally finding that a Praise Posture is the best place I can be. It promotes positive thinking and puts my mind in child-like expectation that my Father in Heaven is trustworthy and true.

Since we all have to go through this stuff, let's not try to get out of it prematurely because we are likely to just go right into another trial unchanged if that's the case! Let's PRAISE in the middle of the mess. Hallelujah! 🔥
