How willing are you to look at yourself and the areas that need change?
That can be scary at times, especially if it’s a deep part of us. I think we instinctively know those deep things because we try to evade quickly and often subconsciously in those moments when we get close to some understanding in that area.
I know for myself, I will all of a sudden find myself get busy doing something - cleaning, scrolling, something….anything…that moves me away from the possible pain of the truth.
However, the more I recognize that, the more I realize that only good will come of that understanding and that in the Lord’s hands, we don’t need to fear anything, especially those deeper things inside. He came to save us….not just for heaven but for the dark, deep things and for the day to day things that we need in order to live a better life.
I am so glad we are not left on our own. We can run to Him with full abandon and He will heal!

Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. 24See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way, the path that brings me back to you.
