Good morning!

The God-coincidences that come so regularly in life just continue to have such an impact on me! Thalia, our 20 year-old daughter, has been sharing with me these same moments in her day. Some of the things I will share over the next few days are “old news” because I write ahead of time and schedule my messages. Life just goes more smoothly for me that way.

Yesterday I saw water that had come through the light fixture in our kitchen ceiling. Some of you know that earlier this year we had a similar thing happening and that our old house had 3 major water issues. So, as you can imagine, that strikes some fear when I see it.

Although at the time of this writing we don’t have a solution, I am trusting with child-like faith that God will handle this. I see this as another opportunity to “pass the test.” Where will I put my faith and hope and trust? I am choosing to rest in His provision.

So, with that in mind, I woke up this morning working on my mindset……to be grateful ahead of time.

As I popped open my Bible to seek what verse God was going to give me for my journal, it opened to Zephaniah 3:17

The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.

I journaled and prayed and then went to open my YouVersion Bible app. Guess what the verse of the day was?

Yep! Zephaniah 3:17

I know that He is so good to encourage and uphold us when things come at us that challenge. To imagine that He would give me these moments of specific favor, I am blown away.
