Believe for the Extravagant
Why do we pick and choose what we think God can or can’t, will or won’t do? Why do we limit him based on what we decide is a miracle we can wrap our brains around and accept? Nothing is too hard for our miracle-working God, who is waiting for us to believe he is who he says he is.
It’s time we let our faith arise! Time for us to dig out those promises we’ve given up on, no matter how long we’ve been waiting. Time to shake off discouragement and complacency and get excited! If he can set the oceans within their borders, care enough to number the hairs on our head, and hold the sun in place, he most certainly can answer our most extravagant prayers. On our own, we can do nothing, but with him, when we connect our faith and allow ourselves to believe for the extravagant and outrageous promises, miracles flow.
Father, I repent for giving up on some of the promises you’ve made. I’ve examined them under a microscope of doubt when they should be planted in the ground of faith. Now I will water them with the Scriptures you place in my heart and thank you in advance for bringing them to pass.
