Faith to See
When Yahweh speaks, he calls us to a higher perspective. He invites us to see from his vantage point, with eyes of faith. Eyes of faith that look at an armored city and say it is as good as rubble. Eyes of faith that see a strong army and declare it defeated. We do not have to know the whole plan from the start. Our confidence is in God not in our own abilities and strategies.
When God says it is so, let’s take him at his word. When he speaks triumph over overwhelming odds, let’s believe him. The same God who formed the mountains can throw them into the sea. The one who filled the great deep can also drain the waters. May we look with eyes of faith, not with skeptical eyes of cynicism. Either way, God will follow through with faithfulness. Let’s be found faithful to his ways and align ourselves in his mercy.
King of kings, I trust that your ways are higher than my ways and your thoughts are high above my own. I want to look from your vantage and see what you see. Open my eyes and increase my faith.

2023-09-18 16:42:28 +0000 UTCWhen our eyes (vision) change is when we know that we are truly His. I used to see the world and people through fleshly eyes that only looked for lust or gain. Now I see the world differently, I see the wounds, the hurt, the desperation, and I know that love can heal those things. It's strange, when I see a broken person I see them as a child, pre-damaged. I think that's how God sees us. With eyes that only see the beautiful future of hope in Him.
