And those passions that were diversions or misdirected were eventually removed and ultimately used as wisdom for others who struggle. I love your choice of quotes. You know I think deeply on them.

I believe the Holy Spirit is super creative and so the things that get us revved up are oftentimes things He is going to use for good purpose. Of course, there are other things that aren’t beneficial too. It’s fun to use the passions and gifts He gives even if they change over time!

2023-10-24 23:17:06 +0000 UTCAs I have aged I’ve had passions fire up and flicker out. I’ve been all in for this and had no interest in other things. This quote is a bit too simplistic to span a lifetime. But as I’ve aged the one passion that has only increased is my desire to know my creator more. To be like Jesus more. To bring light into the lives of others. To do this I’ve had to move away from passions that took time, energy and space in my heart. I don’t regret the passions I’ve lost, they informed me and created wisdom that benefits others. Thanks Sis for another thought provoking quote.
