amazing God

Good morning!

Lately I have been blessed with wonderful conversations with Thalia’s boyfriend, Nick. He was telling me a bit about his thoughts on one aspect of God. it keeps coming back to the surface of my mind so I thought I’d share.

He was talking about how God is a 4 dimensional God and we as humans are 3 dimensional. God has already been in the future, the past and the present and we cannot even grasp the idea of this! However, we have minds that can at least understand a little bit, just enough, to know that we are not in that league! How amazing to know that God is not limited by time, space or anything at all!

As I think about how much humans think they can figure things out or know scientifically that something is true, we keep finding out the limits of humanity. New science disproves what people were so sure of at one point in time. And with the new evidence, we see how limited our understanding was. Could we accept that we will always be limited? It would be foolish not to accept that.

But then I look at the ocean as the waves continue to roll in, the birds keep coming back every year to make a nest for their babies in the eave of my window, hearts continue to be transformed miraculously by the love of the Lord, no matter what is happening in the present day and age.

“Through our union with Christ we too have been claimed by God as His own inheritance. Before we were even born, He gave us our destiny; that we would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplished every purpose and plan in His heart.” Ephesians 1:11 TPT

Our God is still at work. He has been in your future and He has good plans for you. This we can be sure of. No matter what.
