Alright. First things first, this was one of those weeks where, despite my schedule being all over the place, I was actually really happy with all the chapters I wrote this week. I felt like they were all pretty good chapters, so I'm proud of that! However, I learned several things:
1. I remembered why I like being single. Drama is not fun. Especially when it is drama that consumes 6 hours of my time when I'm trying to write. I'm just going to stick to writing waifus. Being single is also way cheaper and I want a house, so definitely sticking to just writing waifus for now.
2. I decided to try and start the week off with the intention of writing LDQ, CORE, and EDO all in one day since those are 3k word chapters instead of 5k word chapters like TTE and TQH. I thought it'd help motivate me more if I could get 3/5 stories done on my first "work day" for the week. Then writing one a day for the next two days would be e z p z! Alas, it had the opposite effect. Trying to jump right into writing chapters for three different stories after taking a few days off made it that much harder to write, thus making the procrastination that much stronger. So, I'm not trying that again. I think I'm going to go back to what I had been doing before: 1 3k word chapter Friday, 1 5k word chapter Saturday, 2 3k word chapters and 1 5k word chapter Sunday/Monday. Something like that. That was working much better for me.
3. Some of you might already know this, but there is a Russian translation site that is hosting some of my stories without my consent, translating them, and locking chapters behind a paywall. There's not really anything I can do about that website and, honestly, it's an ego-booster. Do I approve of it? No. Would I have it taken down if I easily could? Yes. But at the same time, it's a massive ego booster to know I'm worth pirating and translating into another language. However, it's not an ego booster when somebody uploads my most popular story under my name on a new English web novel site. RR admins informed me of it yesterday while I was getting ready to write TTE. This led to me figuring out how the whole system works with filing DMCA claims, actually filing them, blah blah. So, I sent DMCA claims to Google and Cloudflare to get my story off of the website that it's illegally hosted on. It wasn't an ego booster, but I do feel a bit more professional now for sending my first official, legal DMCA takedown claims.
All in all, it was a week full of discovery, distractions, annoyances, and hot chocolate. Caramel hot chocolate.
And today will be my first bottling day! Once the bottles get here, I'll be transferring my first batch of mead from their secondaries into bottles. And, of course, I'll be tasting some samples.
I'm also toying around now with a concept for brewing a caramel apple pie cyser mead. An apple cider mead recipe modified to also be a bochet (boiled honey) and cyser (using cider / apple juice instead of water). I think that could potentially be really delicious. I'll have to finally taste sample all of the honey that I have to see what would work best with it.

I'll probably add the words/hour this weekly update took after uploading this since it's kind of a long-ish one. Anyways, considering how blegh my non-writing situation was this past week, I'm happy.
The True Endgame
Not much to say about TTE this week. It was the last to update a couple weeks ago, the first to update last week, and then late and last this week. Other than that, TTE is just continuing on being TTE.
Ero Dungeon Online
Again, not really much to say, but I'm pretty sure that the $5 and $1 tiers will start getting chapters for this again this week since the $10 tier is the right amount ahead now. I think.
The Queen's Hound
There's nothing that I can really say that wouldn't be a giant spoiler for those of you who don't pledge to the $10 tier. I will, however, say this: it's time.
Lazy Dragon Queen
Alright, first volume is over! Officially! Finally! I planned on LDQ volumes being "short," - like, only 200-240 pages per volume, around 60k-70k words. Instead, LDQ has ended up finishing its first volume at 93,347 words and 383 pages. That could be seen as either a good or a bad thing, but the only thing that matters to me is that I'm happy with it. Yeah, some things need fixed up, maybe cut out, add in some more things - all of that. Overall, though, I'm happy with the first volume and am very excited about the second volume. The second volume will also have more plot (and "plot" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) in it. At its core, though, it's still going to be a very ridiculous story that doesn't give a fuck about anything other than being fun.
CORE
Again, there isn't really much that I can say without spoiling anything, but I can say that I'm happy with the latest chapters and that they have been a ton of fun to write. We're probably going to be getting back into the more serious things now for the rest of the volume, and I'm very excited to finally start writing things that I've had plans for since starting this story. It's time for the monsters to have more time in the spotlight instead of letting CORE hog it all!
In Closing
I'm so tired but I'm also hungry, so I'm going to go microwave some food and then probably go to sleep.
Thank you for your continued support and I hope that you continue enjoying my stories! Have a great rest-of-the-week!
