This year, I will focus on making (half or full) abstract analog works and exhibit them in physical space.
I think there will be less pixel art. In recent years, I have come to prefer abstract paintings over concrete illustrations.
I have lost pop every time I paint. One day, I stopped drawing girls with big eyes, eliminated catchy motifs, and the colors became calm.
We've noticed that many fans don't like this trend. In short, I am losing publicity. The phenomena that creators notice something "truth" and make works that are difficult to understand whether they are esoteric or simple is sad from the perspective of fans.
However, my challenge is the same, "color and emotion of the landscape." Even if I drew an esoteric jumble, it would be just a river at dawn.
Also, I can only do poor self-imitation even if I draw pixel art as it is. Such pictures are already overflowing with Tumblr and Twitter.
And I am convinced that one day my needs and the world will meet again. It's just like the moon and Venus.
I live thanks to your support. I appreciate it very much. I'm in a transition period now and I can't quite show new pictures. However, I paint every day. I look forward to working with you.
