Bonus | Her Males: Chapter 5.5 - Flashback

Winner: Dynamic between the 3 of them before Charlie

SILAS

"Good morning, my beautiful little Fate!" Gray shouts, yanking open my office door and inviting himself inside.

I hum, staring down at the forms in front of me. As much as I enjoy the excitement that comes out of the day-after-feeding Incubus, I don't have time for his childish antics today.

I watch out of the corner of my eye as Gray saunters toward the bookcase sitting along the far wall and scans over the titles, his lips curled up in a poorly concealed smirk. Clasping his hands behind his back, he leans forward and peers at my things as if they're of high interest.

He's not fooling anybody.

It's clear he wants me to ask why he's here, but I really don't want to listen to some long-winded story about the random woman he came across in the Wrath yesterday. I had to listen to them going at it all night long, and learned more about Gray's cock than I'd ever care to know.

"Have you seen Aziel?" Gray mutters, unclasping his hands so he can toy with one of my books.

I huff, not liking the sight of his greasy fingers on my things. He's probably doing it to annoy and get a reaction out of me. I won't be giving him that satisfaction, and hold in my snarky remark as I write down a short note on the sheet I'm working through.

"Haven't seen him yet today." I respond, already knowing that he's hiding away in his office. "You know he always leaves when you feed."

Aziel gave me strict orders not to tell Gray where he was so he could have some space, but as I take in the Incubi's sad expression, I feel my resolve weakening. It's not his fault that he needs to feed, and I know how guilty he feels whenever he's forced to the point where he has no options other than to take a stranger.

"I wish he'd just let me feed off him." Gray mutters, kicking out his foot with a huff.

My lips purse as I set down my pen and glance up from my forms. Gray crosses his arms over his chest as he turns to face me, his bottom lip jutting out. I do have to admit that I don't quite understand why Aziel won't just let the Incubus serve him. They're already bonded, and if they're to take the same female then it's going to happen sooner or later.

"Come on." I give in, standing and rounding my desk.

Gray doesn't hesitate to saddle up alongside me, and I throw my arm around his shoulders as I lead him into Aziel's office. The Wrath is lying on his couch with his arm thrown over his face, and groans as we step inside.

"When'd you get back?" Gray snaps, stepping out from under my arm and approaching Aziel.

I plop down on the nearest chair and watch as Gray forces himself onto the couch with Aziel. He grabs onto whatever part of the Wrath's skin that he can get, mumbling quiet insults when the other man tries to push him away.

My lips purse as I worry about all the work I should be getting done right now. Of all the days for Gray to feed, today was the worst one he could have chosen.

Aziel knows that Gray gets needy after feeding, the bond between them encouraging both men to seek comfort in one another. After killing one or two of Gray's bed warmers, Aziel learned that it's best to stay away, but usually seeks out the other man early in the morning.

Gray sighs as Aziel pulls away, and I watch with a raised brow as he grabs the Wrath's hands and tries to press them to his face. Aziel refuses to make contact, his actions earning another loud grunt from Gray.

"Stop fighting me."

"Then stop touching me." Aziel's quick to return the attitude.

"The bond wants me to." Gray argues, abruptly changing his attack and lunging on top of Aziel instead.

I snort as the two men fall to the floor in a heap, one trying to pull away while the other tries to climb on top. It's an interesting sight for sure, and I debate placing bets on who'll win when Gray pins Aziel. There's no doubt in my mind that Aziel could overpower Gray with ease, and find it sweet that he lets the Incubus have his wins.

"Come with me to the market." Gray orders, his head snapping up to face me. "We haven't gone in weeks."

"I'm too busy." I state, frowning. "The approval forms for the new hospital need to be sent in today."

It's been so long since I've last been to the market, and if it weren't for my workload I'd love to go. There's a witch coven that took refuge in Wrath a handful of years ago, and they almost always have a stall set up that I love to visit. They seem to like me, too, and offer great deals on their old books and tiny spelled objects.

Gray sits back on Aziel's chest with a frown, seemingly bored with his attack now that Aziel's stopped fighting him. Both turn to face me, visibly unhappy that I've turned down the invitation.

"Oh," Aziel murmurs, propping himself up on his elbows. "I can help you with that. I know you want to go."

I shake my head, not wanting to burden them with my work. It's my fault for putting this off until the last minute. I've been so distracted by the Fated world lately, the Fates constantly pulling me in and urging me to explore.

They're not usually this welcoming, and it feels wrong to turn away from their sudden hospitality.

Gray scoffs and jumps up on his feet before reaching down to pull Aziel up.

"No. We want to help. Tell us what we can do." He urges, his words earning a supportive nod from Aziel.

I open my mouth to decline the offer again, but snap it shut as both men shoot me venomous glares. My lips twitch as I lead them to my office and explain what I'm working on and what still needs to be finished. Aziel is pretty familiar with this work considering it's a task I took over from him a handful of years ago, and throws himself onto my couch to begin working through them.

Gray's pretty unfamiliar with it, but makes himself useful by running back and forth between my office and the kitchen to bring snacks and drinks. I remind him that he could get a Shadow to do that for him, but he rolls his eyes before rushing back out to get more treats.

With Aziel's help, we're able to finish up in only a couple of hours, and Gray shifts the paperwork to the hospital admin as I head upstairs to get changed.

"I'm thinking about buying Gray a female." Aziel mutters the moment Gray is out of hearing distance.

I snort, shaking my head at the mere thought of that.

"Why?" I can't help but ask. "I thought you were against paid females?"

Aziel frowns before shrugging, and I spin around to grab a fresh change of clothes from my closet. I hear Aziel sitting down on my bed as I get changed, and turn to see him holding his head in his hands.

"I hate seeing him so hungry, and I'd rather have one female around than have to listen to him take a new one every few weeks." He explains. "Besides, if anything we'd be saving some poor female from a hard life. Gray would treat her well."

I hum, not having a strong opinion here. If you asked me, I'd say he might as well just pick a bonded and get it over with, but I doubt Aziel's in a place where he's ready to choose a life partner. I at least know that I'm not.

"Whatever floats your boat." I shrug, tilting my head to the side as the sound of Gray running up the stairs makes its way to my ears. "I want to pick up some of those treats the Shadows make at the market."

"Fuck, yeah! I love those." Gray shouts, stomping into my room with a shit-eating grin.

I snort, shaking my head before shifting to the market. Aziel and Gray follow moments later, the Incubus holding onto the Wrath's hand to help ease some of the energy needed to shift.

They both don't hesitate to head off in search of fun trinkets to buy, and I watch them from behind. At one point Gray reaches out to grab Aziel's hand, but the Wrath pushes him away and wraps his arm around his shoulders instead.

All the commoners sneak peeks at the two of them as they walk together, both the men and women watching them with outward interest. We haven't come out in a while, and it's clear that we weren't expected to make an appearance today.

I suck in my cheeks as some random woman approaches Gray, her lips curled upward in a seductive smirk. Aziel pulls him away before he has the opportunity to flirt, and I laugh outwardly at the sight before jogging to catch up with them.

Loved seeing a bit of the dynamic before Charlie came along!

I love how Aziel tries to act all cold but has a soft (and jealous lol) spot. Cute chapter!
