Of course, the content matters, too - I haven't watched the leveling stream since Dun Morogh due to all the chaos. "where are you where am i what are we doing what do my abilities do etc". I just couldn't take it. Look at your minimap, read the quest objectives, and read what your abilities do! If there were more thoughtful and organized stream content, however, I would totally load that up and listen to it while going about my day.

I do this very often with WoodenPotatoes, a GW2 YouTuber who also streams. His streaming times are inconvenient for me, though, so I just listen to the VoDs after they're posted.

I'd probably come back and watch it later when I'm garrisoning or something. My boys would probably like to watch esports, but I'll need to screen for profanity since they're still young -- again, a reason to watch after the fact, not live.

2016-04-07 13:29:25 +0000 UTCMostly by watching comments! Often, when I mention esports on the site, there are either very few comments or only comments from people going "ehhhh don't care." Certainly, I think there's an esports audience -- I'm just not sure they're on our site.

2016-04-07 04:24:09 +0000 UTCHow are you judging interest in eSports beside page views? I try and catch Heroes and SC2 tournaments, but I'm never sure when they're going on. Instead, I wait until they show up on my YouTube searches. The only one I can catch consistently every year is the Global Finals at Blizzcon, since I know when Blizzcon happens.
