Watching Blizzard: Don't mention it (really don't mention it)

We’re not talking about Overwatch League because my favorite underdogs — everyone’s favorite underdogs, really — the Dragons lost their latest match. So we’re ignoring Overwatch League. We’re shunning it.

Yes, we. As a group. We’re all together on this, aren’t we?

Oh. We aren’t? Okay then. I’m ignoring Overwatch League… at least for today. I’m sure I’ll be back at it again soon.

In the meanwhile, let’s get on to the latest news.

Hearthstone’s single-player Monster Hunt mode was released today

• And it’s great. Here are the basics of the game’s latest single player adventure, plus bonus content from Dave Kosak.
• Matticus, Ted, and myself are currently working on a quick start guide for the new adventure, with tips on how to make the most of the four odd adventurers you play… but then Matticus started talking about getting into the Magic: The Gathering Arena beta, so we’ll see how this all goes.

What about Diablo 4?

• No, we don’t have any actual news about Diablo 4. Or about anything else Diablo related. But Rossi spent some time thinking about what he’d like to see in Diablo 4, if there ever is a Diablo 4.
• Please, Blizzard, make Diablo 4.
• Please.

News about the only thing that matters: our adorable virtual pets

• No, I’m not talking about Animal Crossing. In Battle for Azeroth, we’re going to see some changes to the battle pet system.

Respec costs are coming back

• No, it won’t cost to respec your your talents, but it will cost to respec your Azerite Armor… which amounts to the more or less the same thing.
• I was just thinking the other day how much I missed respec costs, which were so high you pretty much never changed specs.
• … okay, no, I wasn’t thinking that and I have never thought that. Still, we’ll see how this plays out. If the cost is low enough, it will certainly be good to have the option to shuffle our Azerite traits to try new things (or try new specs).

What? We wrote an article about the beta and the beta didn’t immediately update?

• Wow, I think that’s a first. Anyway, Rachelle has a writeup of the state of Priests in the Battle for Azeroth beta, including a huge rework of Discipline.
