Watching Blizzard: It’s almost our birthday!

It’s true! It’s nearly been three years since Blizzard Watch was born. AOL shut us down and with your help we started right back up. It’s been a hell of a ride, and I’m glad you’ve all come with us for the journey.

And now, before I start tearing up, let’s take a look at what happened today.

It’s our birthday! Almost!

Uh, wasn’t I supposed to stop with the reminiscing? I guess I messed that one up. Anyway, we have an awesome new shirt for our third anniversary, with some awesome art by Noxychu.
Alex wants you to know that the phoenix’s name is Aurora and it has a detailed backstorybut he has so far refused to tell me what it is. So anyone who wants to know, you’re going to have to pester Alex. Just don’t tell him I told you to.

We don’t really what’s happening here

…but apparently D.Va is not actually a pro StarCraft player and never was. This is an odd story twist for a character that was initially described on the StarCraft 2 website as “the #1 ranked player in the world and proceeded to go undefeated for the next three years in all competitions.” But okay, Overwatch, you do you.
