Watching Blizzard: It's been a quiet day

Except now that I’ve mentioned it’s been a quiet day, I can only assume that Blizzard, watching from the shadows, will decide to announce something exciting so that I cannot step away from the blog and play Warcraft for a while. That’s usually how these things work. But maybe it’s late enough in the evening that it’s safe for me to comment on the quietness of the day. I hope so, because I really wanted to get a few levels on my baby Lightforged tonight.

Oh, and why do I have a picture of Emeriss up there? Mostly because Emeriss is one of the latest Hearthstone cards, and boy does the card art not look like Emeriss. There’s a real Godzilla thing going on with that art which doesn’t seem to suit such a dignified dragon.

Anne is back to her alpha adventures!

New alpha content means new zones for Anne to explore and photograph. Today we have our first look at Stormsong Valley with Brennadam and Briarback Kraul.

Overwatch is going on tour

It’s all cosplay and photo ops during Overwatch’s Payload Tour… which may be coming to a city near you.

Uprising is coming back next month… and since next month starts next week, that’s pretty soon!
There was a tiny bug fix patch today. We’re talking really tiny: just four bullet points.
More shakeups for the Shanghai Dragons: Undead, who headed home to China just before the end of Stage 2, is off the team.

Hearthstone cards, Hearthstone cards, and Hearthstone cards

Okay, I’m exaggerating, because there have actually only been four new cards since we were last here talking about drowning in Hearthstone cards. Check out new Legendaries Darius Crowley (who’s pretty good!) and Emeriss (who’s pretty bad!).
Unrelated to cards (mostly), the new Hearthstone Nationals competition is headed to Europe.
And I hope you Hearthstone players are doing your daily quests, because each one awards a free pack right now. Get to it, people, because the free packs will only be on offer through April 9.
