Sadly it was pointed out to me, that you dont close your eye when aiming with a bow and arrow. but I so badly wanted to draw him with one eye closed so he would feel more believable xD whoopsie.

Look at it this way, he could be cross eye dominant (like me). I'm left-handed for most tasks, but when it comes to marksmanship, I'm right-handed because I'm right eye dominant. An archer that shoots with their left hand but is right eye dominant might close their right eye so they could aim better with their left eye.
