Keep in mind that these are more descriptions of their upbringing and past, rather than their actual status. A high end, top of the line pilot, body guard or even bartender would still fall under corpo even if they aren't super wealthy and influential.
Also, the next step will be picking the skill set/previous occupation, which will pull directly from this selection

2024-07-02 04:46:09 +0000 UTCI think corpo is needed at this point. It’s his biggest weak point and greatest fear, the corporations. If he could get someone who has experience with corporations to help cover for areas he doesn’t even know he needs to be looking good out for, but who has a hatred of the corporations that will ensure she doesn’t turn on them, that would be ideal.

2024-07-01 21:45:04 +0000 UTCI think a former Corpo would be best. It gives an added layer that is missing from the street kid or nomad. Johnny is already the streetkid and he has other nomads he can reach out too.

2024-07-01 18:09:15 +0000 UTCI'd say Nomad. He's already got a fantastic in with their entire society because of his water production machine. Having a Nomad kid learning from him and/or joining his crew would bring them more into his "camp" as it were. I mean, he literally lives in the badlands. Having them as not just owing him a favor but actual allies he can call on if he's attacked would be smart. It'd also give him a ready pool of people to draw from if he needs bodies for things he can't just print robots for. It's hard to buy that kind of trust and goodwill. (Plus, female Nomad?) Panam Palmer comes to mind 😆 🤣

2024-07-01 16:54:30 +0000 UTCI’m going with corpo because we need someone who has a good sense of business to help us. Also we might be able to use their contacts to get materials we might not normally be able to get, or to help cover up our own purchases better.

2024-07-01 16:51:58 +0000 UTCa street kid is the best bet (The safe bet). A corpo will sell you on a drop of a hat if he or she saw what Jay has or what he can create or do. A nomad will think about their family (Most likely) as what Jay has will have them living like kings, and they could rationalize to themselves that they are doing the right thing by reporting what he can actually do. So, that leaves military or a street kid. I would pick the street kid over the military as they might know some people who could actually come to be part of Jay group with actually no stings or pasts attached to them, aka no drama. but I suppose this is a story.

2024-07-01 16:43:35 +0000 UTCI chose corpo, but I'm actually thinking someone R&D related... either someone that worked in R&D or someone (maybe marketing?) that helped set prices, just so Jackson has a better idea of how to actually price his stuff. That said, I want her to have some actual skill besides knowing a bit about marketing and pricing, so... *shrugs*
