Rise of the Battlemage (Poll)

So the most recent chapter of Battlemage reveals that, after a bit of a time skip, a good portion of the Skyforged Vanguard are out procuring the next batch of product. The fate of the 4th Group is set in stone, now it's up to you to decide how well the 1st and 2nd Groups perform.
Keep in mind that it won't be across the board the same for both groups. The resource or casualty modifier might affect one crew more than the other.

If you do time skips would you think about at the end of chapters putting a list of what ships make up each fleet group?

2025-02-14 18:13:00 +0000 UTCHonestly, anything that pushes the story is good on my book, i think the Skyforged are pretty much set at this point to become a decent hit and run entity when it comes to the empire. anything more is just bogging down the story at this point. I feel like the hype was never bigger than when he insulted darth vader for 5 minutes straight and i really want to see the reply from vader. Cause boy howdy do i need a sword fight between those two at this point.

2025-02-10 06:27:57 +0000 UTCI would suggest high salvage with significant casualties for atleast one group. maybe a group hitting an Imperial target sees some sort of opposition force arrive unscheduled? The bad guys can get lucky too, and I think it could allow the skyforged to gauge the failings of their new military infrastructure.

2025-02-10 06:26:34 +0000 UTCHonestly given the planning that goes in to missions as well as the ships and gear available i can't really see the Vanguard failing spectacularly to anything except overwhelming force or just plain bad luck. I chose option two just so he's not always Winning at Star Wars. Plus not everyone is a tier 1 operator.

2025-02-08 18:48:27 +0000 UTCI think id like some casualties. would make the MC be like "oh shit". and would help with some motivations. besides some small hiccups, MC hasnt been put in a bad situation. the worst was probably with vader (those couple chapters in that range are among the best). so having some more bad consquence would help with character growth. just my opinion, im pretty fucking stupid at the end of the day!
