Public release: Alpha 40

This month I spent the first few weeks working on some side writing involving Cyan. Basically it was a path for her I wanted to write, but decided would work better as prose. Incremental subscribers already have access to the first part of this story, just under 100 pages, and it will go public for everyone else in awhile (it's already scheduled). It was really nice to be able to work on something different for awhile, and I'm coming to realize that it's necessary to do every so often to avoid burning out on writing DW.
But of course I did get back to DW for the other half of the month, and from that we have the following:
- Jamie can now get bold with his requests from Tanya.
- Jamie can declare he wants to be seen as a girl during his encounter with Emi.
- Eric has a new job opportunity in Capital City.
- A bit of work on Easter Town.
- In the FF7 debug sim, Eric can now set Tifa to slutty.
- Cyan can agree with Orin's suggested marching order at the cave.
- Cyan can now choose the other centaur option in the Savage Species book.
- Cyan can now decide to wander around the bad part of town.
- Jamie can now ask the incubus to turn every boy at school to be more like his current state.
Several of these were really fun to do. In particular the last one is a nice long scene that I've meant to write forever but could just never seem to get started on. Hope everyone enjoys that especially!

Hey, Skooma; I know that some have been giving you a hard time on the content drops of Devious World, but I agree with the need to do other things to avoid burnout - as a part-time writer myself, I can empathize. Personally, I'd rather get fewer updates per month than no updates at all - that, and I genuinely liked the story you wrote for Cyan. I'm eager to see how that continues! That being said, I do think you could benefit from being a little more vocal in future in regards to what you do with the time you have each week. Not saying that we need to know everything that goes on in your life, and of course you will encounter some unintentional IRL issues - but I think it would be fair to your patrons if, say, you plan on doing side writing as your primary focus for a week, maybe mention it in the incremental or update prior? Or an outline of goals you might have for that week? That way we know what we can look forward to. It's just a suggestion, but either way I just want to say that I'm happy with what you've been giving, and look forward to future installments. Don't get demotivated! Hope you have a productive upcoming week! Edit: Not sure if you take DW suggestions or not, but it might be cool to see a plotline for one of the characters where a Thanos snap-like situation occurs, but it takes out everyone of the opposite gender, and the characters have to deal with the aftermath? You know, to commemorate the release of the new Avengers movie. Might be kinda cool! ;D
