Added 2017-04-01 17:58:05 +0000 UTCI really did not want to have to do this because I would prefer to not give the appearance of being all about the money. I still consider the money people give me for Devious World to be just a bonus, a sign of their support, the morale effect of which is significant and as much or more welcome than the actual financial side of it.
However. I can no longer ignore the fact that my pledged amount has consistently been lower on the first of the month than it is the rest of the month. Which means people have been pledging $10 to get the incremental releases, and then canceling their pledges before they get charged on the first of the month, likely thinking themselves quite clever for it.
You know what doesn't make me mad? Losing out on the money.
You know what does make me mad? People taking advantage of me.
So, I apologize to those of you that would have used this system honorably and now have to get charged for only part of a month if you want to sign up.
To those of you who have been taking advantage of me, and are likely now outraged by your inability to do so: take your anger, your entitlement, and your entire existence and get the hell out.

oh, this was the first time i tried patreon, i signed up for the 10$ a month one but realised how much of an investment it was with where the game is currently. I love it and it's an amazing concept but just letting you know i pulled my funds for real reasons not to troll you or bypass the system.
