Added 2017-12-09 04:40:28 +0000 UTCSo I couldn't actually change the $10 tier, but I've added a new one that will have the same early access as the $10 tier. You can change to that if you feel more comfortable with it.
Patreon's response to this change and the outrage it's drawn has been to state outright that I and every other creator that doesn't get tens of thousands of dollars in pledges a month is unwelcome here. They are essentially trying to drive us off. Why, I don't know. It doesn't make good business sense of any kind, but apparently they only want to host people who can essentially guarantee them thousands of dollars in fees every month.
I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for an alternative, at this point.
