Progress on new Combat System - 7 New AI

Destor's enemies have some common actions, specific actions and skills. Their actions now have an importance level and certain conditions. They take decisions on which action they are about to perform based on these conditions. 

Previous combat system ,as you know, were scripted and "information based". Enemies could not adapt to certain scenarios because every opponent (Valeria, Livia, Gloria, Rosanna etc.) had a certain action pattern that does not change in different instances. Valeria changes her movement pattern after she has lost half of her health and livia was switching her actions consecutively for 3 rounds and repeating the same pattern. We wanted our players to study every enemy and learn their pattern. 

AI now has the ability to make decisions based on the course of the fight, they run away or chase the player, attack, defend, taunt, mock the player based on the state of combat. And with this decision making system we're still giving each enemy a different behavior, not losing their uniqueness. 

And another good news for players who just want to skip and don't bother with all the fighting, this AI works on Destor too. You are able to set a faster speed, and simulate the whole battle quickly.
