It was five in the morning and Breena and I are standing in front of the doorstep of a humble dwelling a few minutes walk from the main walled city. We are here to pick up Jakar who is booked to assist us on a particular task.

"Gods I can hear her from here" Breena said. I knocked and knocked on the door, but it is apparent that we are being unheard. "Jakar! sweetie we're going to be late!" I called out as loud as I could but the fucking continued.

Radne: "Alright that's it, we are nabbing her. I will break down the door, you grab her things"
Breena: "WHAT!?"

I transformed into a ram and charged unceremoniously at the door knocking it clean off it's hinges closely followed by Breena. We rushed upstairs and Breena swiftly grabbed Jakar and placed her on my woolly back and we were out faster than the poor man's ability to comprehend what just happened.

We stopped running when we reached the stables where our last companion is waiting, I transformed back to my usual form and set a very angry Jakar down.

Jakar: "That was awfully rude you two! You know better than to get in the way of a girl and her fun"
Radne: "I specifically told you last night that we have to leave early! We've been waiting for you for over an hour"
Jakar: "Give me my trousers damn it!"
Breena: "Radne, what's going on? you've been in such a rush ever since we left the guild"
Radne: "I know, I'm sorry, I just cannot afford to fuck this up. I volunteered to finish a number of tasks for the boss, because I want to be in his most favorable graces when I tell him the news."
Breena: "Come on, you know that isn't necessary, I am positive he would understand. He sees you as family"
Radne: "I see your point but-- "

Not accounting for Jakar's halfling nimbleness, I failed to notice that she already finished dressing up and expertly snuck up behind me and bit my tail. The pain was beyond excruciating.

Jakar: "This is not over you hear me!?"

After making ourselves decent, we loaded up our wagon and set out for the sky islands.
