agree I don't mind donating monthly as long as it's helping GSL

I think that the pledge should still be collected even for off air months. This would allow low tier contributor's funds to accumulate and provide even better prize pools. And as a perk, at least for me, it'd be nice to have digital art or assets as special rewards for those contributions. For instance a set of HD wallpapers of the players with the seasonal art of the tournament (floating chains with a GSL logo) maybe with statistics about their run, or digital posters with the past tournament bracket development with map pool underneath. I think the art department work is great and a pleasure to see during the tournament, it'll be nice also to have it offline. Just my two cents.

Its easier to let people pick a tier they feel comfortable with support yearly and pledge accordingly. Having the patreon pause and unpause will make it more difficult to support! We know how Patreon works, each individual can decide to support, or cancel when they please. I pledged expecting to support for the entire year. Allow the money to accumulate for the next event or even spill over and support the production.

Yeah I admit I cancelled it and as a reason I wrote "I'll support again when the new season starts". Then 2 days later this post drops and I thought it was my fault haha. But yeah, I think everyone assumed they would support the league continually and those who don't want will just unsub manually.

I would definitely buy GSL shirt and a hoodie if they'd start selling them. Even with expensive shipping cost.

I'm the same opinion as most of the contributors here. I was assuming the donations were monthly and if not I'll be increasing my contribution to compensate.

I also think you guys should embrace the monthly subscription model. Just save up the money to add to the prize pool, or spend it on improving production.

I'm happy to keep my subscription running, like other people have mentioned ! GSL is the most prestigious competition and event for Starcraft 2 ! It has run for more than 10 years ! We support GSL !

I think most people are giving money to this GSL patreon with the idea of ongoing monthly donations. I think if someone wants to stop donating, it's very easy to cancel the subscription. Personally, I would like you guys to keep collecting every month and add it to the prize pool and maybe give a bit to your staff as well. I'd love to see Gyuri come back for next season. If you feel that you need to stay active I think a "making of" video or a translated interview with the Korean casters would be cool. Thank you GSL.

1. Take the money for June. 2. Start selling merch and take more money. 3. Organize more SC2 tournaments with high quality casters. There is still time for Super Tournament :) 4. Increase prizes for players from lower places. They need to earn too. 5. Start selling HOT 6 energy drinks in Europe :)

At this point I'm fine giving every months even without GSL. I've watched it since the early days of GomTV and don't mind giving back for the hundreds hours of free entertainment I got from SC2.

Agree with the others, by all means take my money and throw it in the pool, no extra content necessary because the show is more than good enough.

Take the money monthly, but do something in between the off months. A patreon podcasts, interviews, behind the scenes stuff. Anything really!! Or just keep taking it for a bigger prize pool!!
