Huntdown solution
Added 2021-05-29 10:14:03 +0000 UTCAs teased in the previous post, here is my patcher for this retro-style cyberpunk side-scrolling shooter bringing back memories of old!
I remember seeing the game on Epic but it did not stand out as it has been increasingly trendy for games to mimic old-school shooters.
Then I got access to it this week via GOG and thought to look into its ultrawide support due to it being relatively popular on Steam.
The game did not have the common aspect ratio bytes to go by, so I had to resort to disassembling as usual, finding its native resolution of 480x270 and a way to remove the black bars after a lot of code reading.
I also really enjoyed the little I saw of the game, so now I'm thinking of buying it!
