As soon as the game hit Game Pass, I began downloading it and then looking into it. Later a WSGF user made a request, so I had to speed up the completion of the solution. It is another Unreal Engine 4 game based on a newer build, allowing the changes to be comparably simple, as opposed to injecting a lot of new code. I switched the FOV scaling to vertical and removed the black bars from the cutscenes, though the game suffers from some camera issues at very wide resolutions, which is not from the fix itself and can be verified by other means like the UE4 console unlocker and the FOV command.
Edit: I think I solved the camera issues and, most importantly, the issue of gunk moving with the camera in the new tool update. No longer a simple solution but it works!
