The Friendzone mod v1.0 😳😬🫣
Added 2024-10-04 19:07:40 +0000 UTCThe Friendzone mod adds buffs to the “ask to just be friends” interaction in the game. Your sims will now feel a way about being friendzoned. If the interaction is positive, both sims will have positive moodlets, but if the conversation is negative, then both sims will have negative moodlets. Also, your sims will get a milestone and a special milestone buff for friendzoning a sim; in the milestone, the sim will remember the location and who they friendzoned.
How does the mod work?
Click on a sim that your main sim has a romantic bar with, then click the relationship pie menu, and click change relationship to press the "ask to just be friends" interaction.
How many buffs come with this mod?
This mod has 16 buffs for the sim who is friendzoning and the sim who's friendzoned, therefore, in total the mod has 32 buffs (for every in-game emotion) + 1 extra milestone buff to remember the moment for the sim who friendzoned. The last photo on the slide shows the milestone and milestone buff.
This is the first version of the mod and will come with future updates such as phone interaction, computer interaction, custom interactions… etc. Lastly, this mod is in early access and will be public on October 23rd, 2024.

The three tiers are supposed to represent every week for the early access, but for now, I am including the Mercury tier to use the mod early with the Mars tier. In the future, I’ll have it week 1 Mercury, then week 2 Mars, and week 3 Moon then free for the public🥳✨
FAQ:
Why is the milestone not appearing for me?
Maybe you might have cheated something in your milestone section and got messed up, but you can cheat it yourself if you want to set it up for your sim with UI cheats mod by right-clicking milestones and scrolling "friendzoned a sim" milestone. You can even right-click on the milestone to set up who your sim friendzoned and even set up the location.

Hey, I tested the mods and they all work. Something conflicts for some simmers idk what tbh because I don’t have the mod myself. Love language and Friendzone both work with the current patch 🩷

2025-05-05 18:14:42 +0000 UTCYeah it conflicts with something I’m not sure I haven’t fully done the investigation yet. The way to get my mod to work is to add “1- Sspace” (whatever the mod name is). It’s what I do for the moodlets to appear 😆. I’m not entirely sure what mod is causing this yet I will write it down and work on it soon I apologize 🫶🏾🫶🏾

2025-02-25 20:02:05 +0000 UTCI noticed there’s a mod in my game that has the interaction ask to be friends with a heartbreak symbol on it. I don’t use that interaction because it’s not the in-game one idk what mod it is tbh. What I did was I added a “1-“ in front of my file name and my mod appears and it will work, just don’t click the interaction with the broken heart symbol. In my mind, that could be the issue, if not, I will update my game to figure it out. I’m on the patch where the rain and snow isn’t in the homes 💀🫣💗
