Having computer issues!

I had been putting off making this announcement for quite a while because I was hoping to resolve it swiftly but, unfortunately, that sadly wasn't the case.

To keep a long story short, my current laptop is on its last legs: the battery's capacity has been reduced to nothing (so I can't use it if it's not plugged in), the charger fails at times, the SSD is clogged but I can't seem to free space from it for some reason, and (since a couple of weeks ago) I've been experiencing network issues like images not loading in specific websites or other pages outright refusing to load (I've verified that this isn't a network issue, it works amazingly in other devices).

Because of all of this, I bought a new computer last week but, unfortunately, it was faulty straight out of the box. The store I bought it at was kind enough to take it back and replace it but, surprisingly, the replacement had the same issue and I ended up returning it and having the purchase refunded. The most inconvenient thing of the whole ordeal was that I had already migrated my Clip Studio license to the first computer before realizing it had issues; I can only have that license active in one PC at a time and the software warned me that I can only migrate it a limited amount of times.

That brings us today. I already ordered a new machine which should arrive in around a week but, in the meantime, I'm back at my old (un)reliable computer but without my usual drawing software (Thankfully, I did finish and export the latest Morphtober piece before losing access). Though it might be possible to migrate the license back to this laptop, I'd rather not risk it since the new one should be arriving soon and I'll have to transfer it again then. Fortunately, I have an alternative software installed for emergencies like this one.

Just wanted to let you all know about the situation as the time wasted on getting, setting up, testing and taking the new machines back to the store has gotten in the way of not only my daily life but my art production. I also wish to let Transformee members that are due sketches this October that, fortunately, the current situation will not affect their delivery within the month; your artworks are coming so I hope everyone will look forward to them!

It was an specific HP laptop model, so I'm certain it's on the brand. Still very frustrating though.

Having computer issues right out the box? I think that store needs to do some work on their products
