BW polymorph is very strong, not too many great ways to deal with it. One good thing to do is try to predict the polymorph. For example if you hit BW with a Q, immediately pop unstoppable while walking towards her to guarantee getting your throw off before she can polymorph. Same with any situation in which you think you can throw any of her teammates in 1-2 seconds but she is in polymorph range of you, those are the seconds where she is most likely to polymorph you so preempting with unstoppable is important. Unstoppables like johanna just need to be wait out, or ideally you can get someone that is not the johanna as joh is one of the best garrosh counters. Garrosh vs anub is generally a good matchup for Garrosh. Anub stuns are very telegraphed and should be easily unstoppabled before they hit you as they both have travel time. Similar to BW any time anub burrows towards your team you can immediately pop unstop to prevent stun/cocoon on yourself and throw/taunt him deeper into your team, usually an easy kill as he has no burrow left to escape.

2025-06-04 22:07:33 +0000 UTCHey fan, I've mained garrosh for quite a few years. I did have a question on dealing with hard counters like Brightwing, and strong johanna's, anubarak's. My usual play is trying to bush gank and try and time unstoppable to get a taunt/throw. Is there any advice you can give for dealing with stuff like polymorph, unstoppable heroes and massive stuns. Thanks.

2025-06-02 01:10:32 +0000 UTCYeah I think he is good to learn better tank fundamentals, garrosh is very influential even in higher level games so don't need to worry too much about bad habits due to the hero.
