Initial X86_64 Gaming Image Released
Added 2025-08-01 02:52:38 +0000 UTCIt's finally here! The day you all, well most of you anyway, voted for. The initial X86_64 version of the gaming image is being uploaded. This comes after hours and hours of work, (more than one 14 hour day).
The new images should be pretty much identical. There are some things on the X86_64 image not supported on the AARCH64 image yet, e.g. Steam. This is mostly an upgrades/proof of concept release. So long as there aren't a lot of bugs reported, I should be able to get back into adding games and improving the interface.
Both images require a 64GB drive at minimum. The X86_64 version does have an install to disk option. Only use this if, and only if, you don't mind complete and total data loss on the destination drive. It has been tested, but please don't use it anywhere it can potentially destroy data you care about. Just as a reminder for new comers remember to extract the image before writing it to your flash drive. On windows, you can use 7zip to extract the image.
