Give this a watch, I talk a lot about writing and being admittedly bummed about YouTube these days. Thanks for watching, everyone! Any little questions I could answer here?

Dom, I've been a long time viewer of your videos on youtube. I really loved many of the cartoons, and even though I never struck it as rich as I always hoped I would, they are something that I've come to realize I value having had as I grew up. It is very hard to put value on a thought, or an expression, but I realize that I've enjoyed minor details and various vocals/songs you have made more than things that I have paid for, so I've signed up to patreon to support you. I feel like going into specifics becomes a double edged sword, but I'll say that I really enjoyed the comedy of it all, from the Zach song, to Dom and Tim record a song, and the songs for the opening of the lazer collection 5 and 7 were both great. So was Space Frogs for that matter. Everyone has different tastes, and I don't expect you chain yourself to one type of work. I hope you keep doing more serious work as well, and I'm glad you started to when you did. Your work has been great, and I wish you good luck in your current and future endeavors.

It really depends. There's usually a sort of vague, like... I'll know it should sound kinda fast, or kinda airy, or kinda steady... I'll have a floaty concept of it in my head, then I really just slam around and play things randomly until I sort of stumble into it. It's a very sloppy science!

How do you come up with the musical themes of your movies? Do you usually start with a mental picture, or does the music come without a context?
