LOTP 2024 Announcement

Just like last year, we wanted to write a little note for 2024 and tell you about our plans for this brand new year! 😊
So, I'll now hand over to Jason!

"Hello, everyone,

As we step into the new year, commemorating the 4th anniversary since the birth of Lord of the Print, we reflect on the significant changes that have transpired—Lakoh's departure, the addition of a new concept artist, and more sculptors joining the team.

Many of you have sought a roadmap, akin to what we provided last year, for 2024. There have also been questions about the future of Lord of the Print, particularly concerning our monsters and dragons, and whether armies/wargaming will become the iron spear of Lord of the Print.

Monsters and all our original releases are here to stay, regardless of what happens. If armies/wargaming make a return to Lord of the Print releases, it will only be without affecting the current content of our releases. We are considering adding them to the current tier without creating a new tier or changing our pricing. We'll likely have a test for this in 2024. 

In short, Lord of the Print will stick with monsters—armies would never replace monsters.

Alright, alright, but what about dragons? Fear not, dragons will remain a cornerstone for us. While there might be releases without dragons during year, they will always be part of our offerings.

Speaking of dragons, we are currently contemplating the addition of metallic and gem dragons. Gem dragons don't have much representation, and we are not satisfied with all the metallic dragons that have been done in the past. Some are great, but not all of them. And Bahamut definitely needs a design rework!

We're also interested in exploring more of the Godzilla monsters universe as well as Kaiju.

Additionally, we are actively working on new original releases, which I hope you will be pleased with. Exploring new things always involves risks, but as evidenced by the positive reception of Archduke Mousin, we hope these new releases will also find their audience.

This year, I won't make specific announcements about which releases are coming, but rest assured that Archduke Mousin Volume 3 and Dinotopia Volume 3 will be there, along with a plethora of new dragons and original monsters.

Each year is another opportunity for me to thank you very much for your continued support during these last 4 years. You guys have literally changed the lives of many people here in a very positive way.

I also want to express my gratitude to the team—Edamame, Ornella, Vincent, Pavel, Julien, Vincent, Mathis, Killian, Benjamin, Mirena and Tyeler.
These individuals ensure that every month, you can enjoy new miniatures! They consistently strive to improve their work, are passionate about what they do, and foster a great working atmosphere. Truly, this team is amazing.
