Yeah, the bowling alley at my town, like 20 lanes I think, has a weekly top 10 (who get like a free beer or something) and that usually has a few 300s on it by the end of the week. But the guy there told me once that back in the day, like in the 80s, a 300 was the real deal and they'd only see three in a year. Equipment and lanes just could so much better and more accurate that much less randomness is involved nowadays.

2022-05-09 13:44:24 +0000 UTCi can tell you that the amount of people who have bowled a 300 is easily in the millions if not 10s of millions. i grew up bowling, most of my friends have done it once and some have done it a bunch of times. i have one friend whos done it about 90 times.
